God revealed Himself to the African nation In Zimbabwe after many years doing His Holy Work all over the world. He used a rock at Matobo Hills to talk to His people much like He did speaking to Moses using a burning bush.

Holy Shrine of Njelele MKN
Holy Shrine of Njelele

The first people that heard His Voice were young people who were heading their livestock out in the fields. They ran back and told their parents that they heard a Voice speaking within a rock. Villagers quickly realized this Voice had Power although they didn’t understand it was God that spoke from that rock but they developed customs to preserve this Power and show due respect. They would ask for anything at this Holy place and they would get it. They asked for rains and it would rain. Even the white settlers at the time also understood the Power of this Holy place and they came to call it the “Sacred Shrine.”

“Kwafika isikhathi sokuthi ngihlale ebhalwini elistheni. Babengakwazi oKhokho benu ukuthi yimi Nkulunkulu engangikhuluma kuleyondawo. Abaqala ukuzwa ngikhuluma khonapho ngababeyelusile, bagijima bayatshela abazali ukuthi babezwe into ikhuluma edwalweni. Ngendlela yokwazi ukuthi ngaMandla ayekhuluma kuleyondawo babalomkhuba wabo ababewulandela njalo kunengi ababekucela bephendulwa kuseNjelele lapha. Izulu lalisina bengacela kuleyo ndawo, abelungu babesithi yi Sacred Shrine (Idwala elingcwele) kuyisimanga emkhumbulweni womuntu ukuthi kanti uNkulunkulu uyakhuluma edwaleni.”

God did not use any earthly names during His revelation such as those of His Holy Host Jesus Christ. The people of Zimbabwe who lived during that time understood this Holy place that came to be known as “Njelele”, located in the Matobo Hills in Matabeleland South as the place where they could talk to a “Supreme Power”, they reported all their problems they encountered in their communities, such as droughts, war, diseases etc and they would get answers. Some thought the Voice that spoke was that some powerful ancestral spirits, so they would bring traditional gifts that were normally gifted to ancestral sprits such as traditional beer to the Holy Shrine, and some would perform traditional ceremonies calling upon their ancestral sprits at this Holy Place. “Abanye babeletha utshwala kithi, labewosana lamajukwa babethwasisa khonalapho elitsheni.” God was still merciful and patient with His people and continued to bless them despite their confusion and misunderstanding about Who spoke at the Holy Shrine

When problems arose in the community, the villagers would gather their gifts and offerings that they took to the Holy Shrine, the Chief of that area would lead the discussions to understand the problems of his people. The messengers were chosen from within the community who would take the gifts and offerings to the Holy Shrine of Njelele and present the wishes of the community. They also went there to ask for forgiveness when crimes of a serious nature were committed or when the community had fallen into some hard times which were believed to be related to some past transgressions. They would receive answers to all their requests. During a good harvest, the chosen messengers were sent to go to the Holy Shrine to present gifts of Thanksgiving to the “Supreme Power” and deliver a message of Praise. In turn God blessed them according to their deeds.

Over time many people began to doubt the Power at the Holy Shrine as they adopted the religious beliefs of the British colonizers and began to be “civilized”. They lost their traditions; they started to believe their way of worshiping God was primitive and uncivilized. Confusion and doubt followed and many lost their way of life. It was during this time in 1954 that the Voice of God was last heard at the Holy Shrine. The Voice stated, “Sengisuka lapha. Ngiya ezidindini zotshani, ngingene lasebhalwini ezihlahleni” (I’m leaving this place, I will be in the roots of grass and in the tree hollows). Those who were present during that time testified that the ground beneath them shook the day Voice made that an nouncement at the Holy Shrine (Njelele).

God had seen how much people had lost their way of life and their traditions with the coming of the colonizers. They lost their respect and fear for God.

1st Holy Host of God in Zimbabwe

In 1954 God revealed Herself using a devout Member of the Methodist Church, Mrs. Chaza, in Buhera. Who came to be commonly known as “Mai Chaza.” She was a devout woman, she would go up a nearby mountain to pray all night and would spend days alone not talking to anyone. She became the 1st Holy Host of God. God did not proclaim Herself right away through Her Host but started to teach through her. She remained in the Methodist Church after God had Incarnated her. She began to teach in the church to those who would listen and many found Her teachings difficult to understand and the message was so different from what they had been taught in the church. People noticed that something was different about Her, the way She spoke, the wisdom She displayed, and the teachings shocked them and they began to doubt Her teachings. They did not understand that it was in fact God who was Speaking and Doing the Holy Work through Her Chosen Holy Host, they suspected Mrs. Chaza was under the influence of evil spirits or “amadlozi” (spirits of the dead). A great commotion arose in the church during that time about the teachings delivered through the Holy Host of God, Mrs. Chaza. Many called Her “Mai Chaza,” some called Her “Gogo” (Grandmother), some called Her “Sithunywa” (Messenger) and other different names.  God knew that the people at the time did not understand Her and they were very hardheaded so She showed them miracles so they would believe,”NgeSimo sakuqala iLizwi laMi lalithule ngitshengisa umsebenzi kuphela ngoba ngibona ubulukhuni benhliziyo zabantu ababengazwisisi ukuthi ngiyini.”

After the rejection of God’s teaching at the Methodist church, the Holy Host of God went back to Chivako Mountain later called Mt Sinai which is where God revealed Herself. She was told to continue Her Holy Work. The other villagers saw the Holy Host of God ascend to the top of the mountain every day. They became very curious until one day a group of five men approached the Holy Host of God and asked Her why She always goes up the mountain every day. She responded by inviting them to come along with Her so they could see for themselves on the condition that She placed Her hands on their heads first. Confused by the request they nevertheless agreed. When they reached the top of the mountain with the Holy Host of God what they saw stunned them. They rushed back down the mountain to tell the other villagers that they had seen, “zvatakaona kugomo reChivako Ndezveku’Matenga’” (We saw on Mt Chivako is God’s doing). After that incident they started referring to the Holy Host God as Matenga (meaning God).

One miracle that remained engrained in people’s memories and is still passed on to this generation was the raising of the Chief Chitsunge’s son, Shona, from the dead. Shona had been ill for a short while and two traditional healers had tried to heal him, but they had failed so they ran away fearing he would die and would get the blame for the death of the Chief’s son. Shona died after a short illness. The Chief was devastated by the passing of his son, but he knew of the miraculous works done through the Holy Host of God in his region as She had also previously healed his wife. He instructed some of his subjects to take the lifeless body of his son to the Holy Host in the hopes She would raise his son from the dead. It seems his faith saved his son on that fateful day. The Holy Host placed Her hands on the body of Shona and prayed and he woke up. Word of this miracle quickly spread throughout the village and surrounding areas.

After the rejection of God’s teachings at the Methodist church She moved to Seke district to continue Her Holy Work. She was welcomed by Chief Seke.

It was here that God established the Guta Ra Jehova (GRJ) Congregation. Soon, word of a “Healer” who performed miracles spread throughout the region and thousands of people flocked to Chief Seke’s village to be healed. The barren were given the gift of children, the blind could see, the crippled were able to walk, the deaf could hear, the mute could speak and many other diseases were cured.

The villagers even saw the white settlers come to be healed in their village who had also heard word of a Powerful “Healer” who healed by the simple touch of Her hand. People came to build their houses near the Holy Host’s house so they could be nearby; soon hundreds of houses had been built around the house of the Holy Host of God.

Another miracle that stunned many was the raising of a woman from the dead in Harare. The woman had severe abnormal uterine bleeding. She bled to death in her home. Her husband upon getting back from work found his wife dead in their home laying in a pool of blood. He knew about the miraculous works of the Holy Host who was in town that day and he believed She could raise his wife from the dead. He searched for Her all over town and when he finally found Her he told Her of his recent misfortune with his wife and asked if She could lay Her hands on her. God took pity on the man that day, his faith would resurrect his wife. She agreed to travel to the man’s house and it is said She was singing a Holy Hymn on the way and upon arriving at the home and seeing the woman laying lifeless in the house She began healing the lifeless body of the woman by placing Her hands on her stomach area. The woman came back to life, a vengeful spirit of a person who once lived and murdered a long time ago had possessed the woman and declared itself at the time. The spirit was freed and it left the woman. The woman later testified with joy to others how she was raised from the dead by God.

The Holy Host of God travelled to different areas of the country doing God’s work, healing the sick and teaching. On the journey to Chief Chitsunge’s village on the way to Mutare, many were healed. Four cars set out for Chitsunge’s village, one carrying the Holy Host of God. It is said on the journey to Chitsunge’s village the people accompanying the Holy Host of God sang until the earth shook beneath them. They were travelling through the night but as they passed through some villages on the way, the streets were lined up with people who were woken by the singing. Many had heard the Holy Host of God would be passing through the town and knew of the miracles She performed. This was where the Holy work began. Many sick people stood by to catch a glimpse of this “Healer” they had heard so much about. Many shouting, “Sisindise” (save us), She responded by saying, “ukukholwa kwenu kulisindisile bantwana bami” (your faith has saved you My children). Upon arrival at the village She was welcomed by Chief Chitsunge himself, whose son had been raised from the dead. The Holy Host of God took all those who were present up Mt. Chivako and told them that was where God descended to live as a Human amongst humans. A great many miracles were performed on the mountain as people sang, those who were present testified that the mountain shook violently as the Holy Host of God prayed and healed many who were present on the mountain. She called out for the barren, the crippled, the blind, the deaf, the mute, to come and be healed, “Buyani lizosindiswa, izinyumba azize zizothola izingane, abangela zinyawo buyani lizithole, abangela amehlo, abangela ndlebe, izimumu, buyani ngizalipha konke.” Upon seeing the miraculous work on the mountain many declared their faith in God and confessed their sins to God or to those who were designated as “Gate Keepers” and were healed with the touch of a hand by God’s Power through the Holy Host.

The Holy Host of God continued on Her journey to Mutare after stopping at Chitsunge’s village with many following Her on this journey. Hundreds of people who heard She was coming waited in Mutare. Upon arrival in Mutare She was welcomed by Chief Zimunya and a local village committee member. After the She showed the Chief and committee memberthe work of God, the people who had been healed, the crippled who could now walk, the blind who could now see, the deaf who could now hear and many others who had been cured of various diseases, they were astonished. Hundreds of people turned away from their life of sin and committed to a Holy life with God in Mutare and were healed by God.

Upon return to Chief Seke’s village, God advised the Members of the Congregation to remove their belongings from their houses because a fire would ravage the houses where the Guta Ra Jehova (GRJ) members lived, “Sengibone umlilo eGuta, khiphani impahla zenu khathesi.” God had earlier warned the Congregation Members that a fire would come because of the sins committed in front of Her Eyes.

After the incident of a fire that burned down the GRJ community Village in Seke district, She set out to another area of the country, to continue Her Holy work. She first set out for Mrehwa at that time it was ruled by Chief Mangwende. The chief upon hearing of the arrival of the Holy Host of God did not welcome Her. He forbade Her from his village, stating there was no place for the Holy Host of God in his Village.

After the painful rejection by Chief Mangwende, She and all the people accompanying Her, moved on to Mutare and were welcomed by an elated Chief Zimunya who was familiar with God’s work and felt honored that She had chosen his village to do Gods work. Chief Zimunya gave Her permission to choose an area in his domain, suitable for Her to do God’s Work. After She chose a place, people started building their homes in this new Holy Settlement, so they would be close to the Holy Host of God. What was surprising to many who came to build in this Holy settlement was that all the building materials seemed to be readily available on site, they never had to wonder far to look for any materials. The settlement grew very quickly, one time they counted as many as 1,145 new houses built for families of Guta Ra Jehova (GRJ) faith. God had once proclaimed that, “Sesifikile eCanaan lapho okulochago loluju khona” (We have arrived in Canaan, the land of milk and honey).

Many people came to be saved at GRJ, confessed their sins and were healed by the touch of a hand. Many countless miracles were performed and many people healed from many diseases and ailments.

Many people all over the world flocked to GRJ Head Quarters In Mutare. It was clear a branch had to be established especially for the people in the City of Bulawayo. At that time(~1956) a group of committed GRJ members residing in Bulawayo started organizing prayer meetings, which were initially held at one of the GRJ member’s house (Philemon Maseko) but later as the group grew in numbers, the prayer meetings were held outside in the open. These prayer meetings were initially organized by a devout member of the GRJ Congregation named Taxwell Tayali. T. Tayali was eventually chosen to be a leader of the group since he was the one who had actually initiated the idea of the prayer meetings.

In 1957 the Bulawayo GRJ members started building a Prayer Hall and their intention was to request the Host of God to visit the City of Bulawayo. Such a visit would be the highest honor for the people of Bulawayo and would firm up the branch. The project was carried out between the end of 1957 to the beginning of 1958. During this time, T.Tayali would wake up early in the morning to go to the building site and mix up the mortar before going to his work place. His devotion to was remarkable, while others were making joint efforts for the projects, he individually carried out projects on his own, such as buying a glazed door and mat for the Holy of Holies.

The building was completed in 1958 and the Holy Host of God was able to visit Bulawayo for the first time in May of 1958.

1960 was a remarkable year for Africa, 17 African countries got their independence from colonial rule on that very year. It was also the year God Departed with Her Holy Host after six years (1954-1960) working as a Human amongst human through Her Holy Host. On December 25th 1960, The Holy Host of God went to rest. During the last days, God was teaching to some members of the congregation that many simply failed to follow Her teachings and hence would not recognize Her when She crossed over to the other side of the river. The crossing to the other side of the river was an analogy for Her return, that many would fail to recognize God when She returned. She also went on to say, “I have no grave on this earth and none will inherit Me (Handigarwinhaka) because this is Holy work, not wrought by flesh, My Children in Guta Ra Mwari.” One member of the congregation, Mr. Sagaresango got up and said he would not fail to recognize Her because God had saved his daughter, “mina ngizakwazi ngoba wangisindisela indodakazi yami, ngizabamba ijali kuzekube sekufeni, ngizabambelela ngizabalawe ekuphendukeni kwakho.” He said he would hold on to the fringes of Her shawl, and would be with Her on Her return. The Shawl he was referring to was that worn by the Holy Host at the time during service. Mr Sagaresango like many didn’t understand that God is a Spirit with no form and it was God the Spirit talking, not the human Holy Host they commonly referred to as “Mai Chaza.” God the Spirit was the one who would return not Her Holy Host. The same mistake made by many Christians who still to this day, wait for the return of the Holy Host Jesus Christ to return to earth.

On December 25th of 1960 God departed with the soul of the Holy Host as had been foretold. The body of the Holy Host was buried at Kazangarare Guta at Zvimba communal lands in Zimbabwe. During the burial, people who stood by watching the burial from a distance saw the Holy Host Mrs. Chaza standing on a nearby hill, in Her complete Holy Attire. They called out to the members of the congregation who were conducting the burial ceremony to let them know the person they were burying was no longer in the coffin, but had risen and was standing on the hill. This fulfilled the declaration by God that, “I have no grave on earth.”

God had promised members of the congregation that She would return after 40 days, “Ngemva kwensuku ezingamatshumi lamane ngiza liphendukela” and they were to wait for Her until that time.

It was on Tuesday January 31st 1961 at the Bulawayo Guta Ra Mwari Branch, some Evangelists and Leaders had gathered for their usual Tuesday Leaders Meeting. “The main issue on the agenda for that night was the journey to the Religious Conference at Chinhoyi which all the Guta Ra Mwari members knew about as God had charged them on His Departure to meet Him there on His announced return after forty days of rest. During that meeting which was in the evening between 1900hrs and 200hrs those assembled saw a Vessel, as it were, of red hot embers appearing from the South West and shooting across the sky towards the North East. The light emanating from this vessel was very bright. There was some rumbling sound and fear fell on all Guta Ra Mwari members assembled there. The meeting was dismissed forthwith.”

Taxwell Tayali, the chosen Holy Host, unknown to others at the time, when He arrived home after the meeting, He felt a cold chill throughout His body. He asked His wife for warm water to warm up His feet which felt very cold. Later that evening as the wife of the Chosen One prayed He saw with His spiritual eyes, the Heavens open and from above descending a thick snow-white cloud which landed on Him. When the snow white cloud landed on His head, He fell backwards and Gods’ Voice spoke through Him as God declared His return through Him , , “Sengibuyile.NginguNkulunkulu weZizwe zonke. Sengikwenze indlu engcwele lapho eNgizahlala khona eGuta Ra Mwari. Isikhathi sesenele ukuthi Ngenze umsebenzi waMi” ( “ I have come – I am God of all nations. I have made you the Holy Temple where I will dwell at Guta Ra Mwari. The time is up that I should do My work”).

“When the cloud landed on the incarnate, He felt as it were, Ice-cold air filling His body and rest inside Him.” At that time the human spirit was with God the Spirit in the same body as one. “Thereafter God began working in speech, sight, and deeds. Human activity was reduced and therefore whatever came after that was being spoken by God and what was done on that body was done to God.”

When God descends to be a Human amongst humans His Holy Spirit descends first to announce His coming. “My motto is ever that I do send my Spirit ahead to preach and warn the world then I come and live as a human among humans.”As in the time of the Holy Host, Jesus, the Holy Spirit descended on John the Baptist as had been foretold in the Bible, “Behold, I am going to send My messenger, and he will clear the way before Me.”  The Holy Spirit is God’s appendage, His Holy Hand. The Holy Spirit leads the Holy Messengers,  Evangelists and other servants of God. Janet is one of God’s beloved Holy Messengers. She descended  to testify that God had descended and was living as a Human amongst humans.

Holy Messenger Janet (Mrs. Zulu)
Holy Messenger Janet (Mrs. Zulu)

When God descended to live as a Human amongst humans His Holy Messenger Janet also descended in a woman who was called Mrs. Elsie Zulu on the night of February 1st 1961. The following day on February 2nd 1961, as The Holy Host of God came out of a car to attend a meeting at the Guta Ra Mwari branch, the Host of the Holy Messenger Janet, Mrs Zulu, came out to the car in which the Holy Host of God was in. The Holy Messenger within her proclaimed in Shona, “This is God”. God also called on His Holy Spirit, Janet, to meet Him at Chinhoyi, “Janet woza uNgihlangabeze” (Janet come and meet Me).

After 40 days as had been promised on Friday November 3rd 1961 God revealed Himself to His Congregation in Chinhoyi, formerly known as Sinoia. The Holy Host of God along with a few devoted followers had travelled from Bulawayo to Chinhoyi to attend a scheduled meeting. They actually arrived at 1:00am in the morning at the GRJ branch in Chinhoyi to find people who had gathered for this day asleep. No one came out to meet the Holy Host of God after they had been summoned several times. They sat in the car for a long time, much later in the morning The Holy Host of God went into one of the rooms, the Shrine, He walked in and turned around and started shouting in a loud Voice, which they recognized as the voice of the former Holy Host of God, Mrs Chaza.  He called out several times for the Holy Spirit Janet, “Janet woza uNgihlangabeze” (Janet come out and meet Me). There was a loud rumble in the room after He called out for the Holy Spirit Janet.

He sent out a two GRJ Members to summon others to gather for the meeting, but no one came.

“As they refused to come to Me, I came down the steps and paused intending to proceed to the worship arena at that time, I instructed Mr Gondo to count my foot steps as I walked. I started walking. When I stopped, I asked him how many there were. He answered, ‘There are twenty four’ I further asked him, ‘if these twenty four were husband and wife how many households would these be?’ He replied that they would be twelve. I told him, ‘These are my followers’.”

The Holy Host of God later proceeded to be among the GRJ members gathered in the worship arena. It was here that the Holy Host was physically harassed, beaten and dragged out of the worship arena 3 times by an angry group of GRJ members and in the process His shoes came off and buttons from His jacket were ripped off. The violence began after God through the Holy Host had instructed two men (Mabandi and Lancelot Ruzvidzo) to stand on the right and the other on left of the Holy Host in a re-enactment of the crucifixion on the cross and some of the members there said “umuntu lo ozifananisa lokubethelwa kukaJesu esiphambanweni” (“this person likens himself with the crucifixion of Jesus on the cross.”). “They became angry and started harassing and pushing Me back and forth. A young girl possessed by her spirit, started head-butting Me in the stomach.”  In the midst of the violence the Holy Host lost His shoes, a button from His jacket was torn off and even had a chirped tooth from someone punching Him very hard on the face.

This rejection and torment had actually been foretold by God before all who accompanied the Holy Host set out for this journey, “Abahambayo emhlanganweni bangaya, labasalayo bangazisalela kuhle nje, kodwa Thina Kasiyi ngenxa yokuthi kulamazinyo asegcekeni“ (“Those going to the meeting may go and those remaining are free to remain but We are not going because there are thorns and bared teed”). However Mr. Gondo had pleaded with God saying, “UMoya ungasala ngapha koBulawayo akungeke kulunge ngaphandle kokuthi sihambe sonke”,( “ it may not go down well if the Spirit remains here in Bulawayo unless we go together”.) It was then that God agreed to make the journey to Chinhoyi and face the rejection and torment.

It was as if history was repeating itself when God revealed Himself amongst the Jews through the Holy Host Jesus Christ when He declared “I Am God in the Jews.” Many were angry about this declaration and called it blasphemy, they said “this person thinks he is God, he is the son of Joseph and Mary they are just human.” This led to tormenting and betrayal of the Holy Host Jesus Christ and eventually the crucifixion on the cross. The same level of intensity and hatred permeated the members of GRJ as they violently rejected God on His return.

The problem was that many members of the GRJ congregation failed to recognize that God had indeed returned as He had promised. Most expected that the 1st Holy Host of God, Mrs. Chaza, would physically return, they failed to differentiate God the Infinite Spirit and the human He used as His Vessel they called ‘Mai Chaza.’ This confusion was strikingly similar to the confusion by Christians, who to this day, expect that the Holy Host Jesus will return as God, but failed to understand that God is a Spirit with no form and Jesus was His Vessel He used at the time. Some people expected He would return to the same family of the 1st Holy Host, Mrs. Chaza, some thought that He would have returned to other more influential members of the congregation, some rejected Him because they expected Him to return to someone of the same tribe as the 1st Holy Host. The 2nd Holy Host, T.Tayali, was actually born in Livingstone, Zambia formerly known as Northern Rhodesia so He was neither Shona nor Ndebele tribe as most people in the congregation were and for this reason many also looked down on Him as a foreigner. What they all failed to understand was that God “reveals Himself to the meek, gentle, and tender-hearted whose thirst for Him is undoubtable in His presence.” They failed to recognize Him, “they failed to understand what had happened among them even if God had promised they should wait for forty days for His Return. On the fortieth day, God revealed Himself in these words “ I have returned, I Am God”. They failed to remember that, that was what they were waiting for. They did not have the patience to wait and see what would result from that revelation.”

It was also here at Chinhoyi that God travelled spiritually to many countries in Africa, this all happened while the Holy Host of God sat out in the car when there was no room for Him to lay down in the household at night. “There was a journey into space taken in a Spiritual Space-Craft by God’s Elect as God. ..Very many countries were visited on this journey with discussions and decisions made in the language of the people visited. The words constituting the decisions were audible to those present and seated next to the Vessel at Chinhoyi….Soon after the journey to the different countries, there was a Journey to heaven where there was a meeting – a conference to confirm the election of the Twelve in Guta Ra Mwari.” A standing order of a large Holy Shrine that would be built by experts-architects was given. There was also a standing order to abolish oppressive laws to people and worshippers in different countries, “there is no stone that I shall leave on top of another.”

The Holy Host of God returned to Bulawayo to the GRJ branch where rejection, humiliation, and swearing by strongly opposing GRJ members continued. The Host family was insulted and harassed by many members, life was difficult for the family. People actually went to the extent of assaulting the children of the Host family. One such shocking event happened on a Thursday when the Host family mother had just returned from a service, she heard the children making noise out in the back yard. By the time she made it out there one of the assailants had his foot on Phoebe’s neck, Phoebe was the Host family’s daughter. Had she delayed further Phoebe could have been killed by this individual.

The Holy Host of God also made a trip to Mutare in the district of Chief Zimunya which had been the Head Quarters of GRJ during the time of the 1st Holy Host of God, Mrs Chaza. It turns out they were also very hardheaded and bitter and did not even allow Him through the gate at the worship arena. Most of the people there actually thought God would return as He had been in form of the 1st Holy Host of God, Mrs. Chaza, yet some thought He would come back to one of them, since they had previously lived with the 1st Holy Host of God, Mrs. Chaza, so they did not accept the 2nd Holy Host of God, T. Tayali. It was after this trip to Mutare passing through Mhondoro that God declared that there had been enough harassment and it was time to put a stop to it, “Sekwenele manje ukuhlutshwa.” Those who had humiliated and rejected God were left in darkens:

“You have rejected the light, you will remain hating each other, you will fight amongst yourselves and report each other to the Police. Since you rejoice over your great numbers of old members, you are like a person who relies on an old harvest but has no hoe. I Am leaving with the hoe (Holy Spirit), I will till another field. You must know that a big home built a long time ago with buildings that collapse month after month, finally has no houses. However, a home with twelve houses where one is built every week, will expand.”

July 22nd 1961 was the day a new congregation was formed; the chosen 12 families arrived at the opening of the new branch in Bulawayo as had been foretold in Chinhoyi. As God had taught during the time of the Holy Host Jesus Christ, Matthew 22 Vs 14, “For many are called, but few are chosen”; Out of over Seventy Thousand (70,000) GRJ members, only 12 families were chosen. The twelve families consisted of the following couples; “Messrs and Mesdames Phillip Zindonga, James Bori Tawodzera, Tadius Mabodo Mackaya, Muzadzi Chitate, Mathias Jawa, Evans Zulu, Moses Hwamande Nyoni, Fabian Virimai Chenembiri, Christopher Malumba, Litarato Machisenge, Sasa Masuku, Jackson Ncube and Chibuda.” God had chosen the 12 families so he could teach them and they in turn could teach others, “Ngilikhethe libalutshwana ukuthi Ngilifundise ukuze lifundise abanye.” God began to make changes to the Congregation.

2nd Holy Host of God in Africa

The name of the Congregation was changed from Guta Ra Jehova (GRJ) to Guta Ra Mwari (GRM). God began His work through the Holy Host, people came to join and become members of GRM in staggering numbers. They had heard of the Healing Power that was present at the congregation. It came to be known as the place where illness and troubles were cured. People with diseases such as HIV, cancer, mental illnesses, spiritual afflictions/possessions etc came to Guta Ra Mwari and were cured of all their diseases by God. Other miracles performed at GRM included:

People healed by touch of a Hand from the Holy Host of God or Chosen Holy Messengers, turning water into sanctified water, being healed by the Voice of God, the giving of the sight to the blind, healing of the crippled, the barren given the gift of children after being healed by touch, the giving of Healing Power to chosen servants, restoral of monthly fertility cycles in women who prematurely stopped.

Members of Guta Ra Mwari (GRM) were given a better understanding of who God was than the members of Guta Ra Jehova(GRJ). God had softened their hearts to better understand Him. They were given the knowledge to understand the difference between God the Spirit and the Chosen Holy Host Taxwell Tayali, knowledge which the members of Guta Ra Jehova lacked. God was building up on His work He started when He worked through His 1st Holy Host, Mrs. Chaza.  He taught that He reveals Himself bit by bit so we can understand who He is, “Ngiziveza kancane-kancace ukuze kuzwisiseke ukuthi ngiyini.”

As before, members of GRM had the opportunity to enter the Holy of Holies and surrender their problems directly to God. Not only were they cured and rid of their problems and diseases, they also received the Holy Spirit to live with them and protect them from harm every day. Many branches were established in many cities in Zimbabwe and other countries throughout the world such South Africa, Botswana, Zambia, United Kingdom, USA, Australia etc.

God made many declarations while working as a Human amongst humans at Guta Ra Mwari regarding Africa, Zimbabwe, the world, and other religious faiths around the world. God declared that countries in Africa would come to rely on the country of Zimbabwe, “Lapha eAfrica amazwe wonke azathembela eZimbabwe.” Another declaration made was that relating to the religious practice where the Brothers, Sisters, and Priests doing God’s work are not allowed to marry in order to focus on God’s work. God declared that this has to stop, it is His commandment that men and women should marry and bear children. “Kulaba abakhonzayo, kulelinye ibandla eleza lomthetho othi abathwala umsebenzi wokufundisa ivangeli kababe ngoSisi, amaSister laboBrother bangaze bathathwa, baqhubele umsebenzi lo phambili. Kakula nto enjalo empilweni. Kufanele ukuba owesilisa athathe: owesifazana athathwe ngoba yisimiso sikaNkulunkulu uMdali esokuba kube lokuzalana okusemthethweni.”

Many other declarations recorded in many Holy books were made by God at Guta Ra Mwari. For over 42 years God ruled the world and the Heavens as a Human amongst humans in Guta Ra Mwari, teaching, healing, forgiving sins from February 1961 to the day He Departed December 6th 2003 and Ascended to His Heaven with His Holy Host, Taxwell Tayali.

During His last days God left the Congregation of Guta Ra Mwari with a test of faith which would puzzle thousands of followers later. He first declared that He would not return as a Human amongst humans again after His work through the 2nd Holy Host. During the final days in Botswana before God Departed He also asked those who were with Him that if He would return in a child, would people recognize Him? “Ngingaphenduka ngisemtwaneni lizavuma yini?”

The body of the Holy Host of God was laid to rest in Nyazura, Zimbabwe after God Departed on December 6th 2003.

Before His Departure on December 6th 2003, God had instructed that the name of the Congregation was to be changed from Guta Ra Mwari to Muzi Ka Nkulunkulu on October 6th, 2003. The declaration was made to Evangelist Million Nyathi who was reporting to God about a meeting he was about to attend with other servants of God at Guta Ra Mwari. God corrected him a total of three times during his report that he was not to say he was going to Guta Ra Mwari but he was to say he was going to Muzi Ka Nkulunkulu,  “Hatshi Mvangeli wothi wena, Sengisiya eMuzi Ka Nkulunkulu.”  Evangelist Million Nyathi was tasked with telling other Guta Ra Mwari members that the name of the Congregation was to be changed from Guta Ra Mwari to Muzi Ka Nkulunkulu, “Sikutshelela ukuthi ungomunye wabaVangeli utshele abanye ukuthi ibizo lenhlanganiso lisebenze kucitshwe leli elithi Guta Ra Mwari kusebenze elithi Muzi Ka Nkulunkulu.”

During the delivery of the message to a Congregation at a later time with a few translators who were translating the Commandment to different languages a mistake was made by the translators who translated the new name of the Congregation to their respective languages instead of stating it as it was, Muzi Ka Nkulunkulu.

Sashes Changing Color

The Video link above shows the Sashes won by male Memebers of Guta Ra Mwari changing color from red to green during prayer. This was another sign that many missed or dismissed as bad video feed or video editing.

Gods nd Host in Africa Taxwell Tayali MKN

Second Holy Host of God in Zimbabwe – Taxwell Tayali

The chosen Holy Host, first became aware of God’s plan on August 2nd, 2008 in Chipinge.

3rd Holy Host Muzi Ka Nkulunkulu
3rd Holy Host

He was 19 years old when He was Chosen to do God’s work, also fulfilling the declaration made by God during His last days before His Departure working through the second Holy Host, Taxwell Tayali: If I return in a child would you recognize me, “Ngingaphenduka ngisemtwaneni lizavuma yini?” During this time the Chosen Host had just started training for the National Youth Service Program in Chipinge. He was in his dorm room which He shared with his roommate, Ishmael, when at exactly Midnight marking the start of August 2nd He saw a cloud descend in the room and the whole room light up very brightly, this all happened when He was wide awake not asleep. His roommate also saw this bright light and he immediately ran out of the room but the Chosen One couldn’t run out, He felt his body ‘weighed down’ and this made it hard to run, gripped with fear he eventually made it outside. While outside as He looked up, the sky opened up and He could see the stars and the moon appear much bigger than usual. The Chosen One felt His spirit stretch and it was then that He ascended into Heaven. In Heaven, He was met by Holy Soldiers of God (amaButho), dressed in full Holy attire as Members of Muzi Ka Nkulunkulu Congregation dress for service. He was also met by the 2nd Holy Host of God , Taxwell Tayali. He also saw a  piece of the Heavens as He walked with the second Holy Host of God, Taxwell Tayali who welcomed Him to the Heaven, lush green grass stretching far and huge beautiful houses, “Ngazibona ngihamba lesimo sesibili kukhanya wayengitshengisa indawo ngoba kulapho engaboniswa utshani obuluhlaza tshoko lezindlu ngazibona zizinkulu okumangalisayo zazizinhle futhi.” He described hearing a very loud unbearable persistent noise like thunder, then He heard a voice that declared itself, “Ngingu Nkulunkulu” (I Am God). He was told he should start God’s work, He then received God’s teachings that He to take with Him to teach the world. At that point He saw his spirit stretch even further.

When His spirit eventually returned back to His earthly body He felt a cold chill throughout His body and while alone He uttered the words “NginguNkulunkulu” (“I Am God”). At this point the human spirit was silent, this was the moment that marked the Incarnation, the Descent of God to live as a Human amongst humans. The human spirit was terrified of the events that had transpired in His body. He was instructed by God to start teaching about God at Muzi Ka Nkulunkulu. Initially when He didn’t teach right away as the Voice of God was instructing, He noticed a swelling at the base of His neck with severe pain. He quickly realized when He spoke or wrote down the words that were being dictated to Him by the Voice of God the swelling and pain subsided. He started teaching about God at Muzi Ka Nkulunkulu to those who would listen but spent the majority of the time locked up in His room, He felt isolated by others especially when they started to suspect Him of witchcraft. During this time He was very aware of the spirit world and many evil spirits were also aware of the Power within Him and they began to hover closer to Him, tormenting Him.

August 6th, 2008 just 4 days after His first Ascension to the Heavens, the same bright cloud descended again in His room at exactly midnight. He would later realize the importance of August 6th as the birthday of the Host of God’s Holy Spirit who was born August 6th, 1985.  His roommate was no longer living with Him at this time, the first encounter had scared him away. Once again when He went outside the sky opened up as it had before, He felt His spirit ‘stretch’ and ‘balloon up’ getting much bigger in a physical sense. He then Ascended to Heaven once again where He was met by the 2nd Holy Host, Taxwell Tayali and He saw the Holy Soldiers (aMabutho) dressed in Holy attire. He heard the same very loud noise as if it was thundering. The 2nd Holy Host, Taxwell Tayali seemed to be up on some type of raised ‘stage’ and He asked the other Holy Soldiers to help the Chosen One up the stage. Once He was up on the stage with the 2nd Holy Host He was able to walk on His own two feet. A thought that raced through His mind at that time was that He was dead and this was afterlife, so He pinched Himself and indeed He felt pain. They walked together towards a large House which had a bronze like appearance and they stepped up to the House. Once up there they were looking down at the rest of the Holy Soldiers in Holy Attire (women in white dresses, men in khakhi attire). The 2nd Holy Host suddenly vanished from His sight. He heard the Voice of God telling Him not to be afraid He had chosen Him and made Him Holy and He was to teach the world because it was in chaos, “ungesabi sengikukhethile ngikwenze indlu yaMi eNgcwele njalo kuzamele ufundise umhlaba ngoba uduhile.” He was also told about the Nkomo Family He was going to work with to carry on God’s work here on earth.

October 21st 2008 was the day when the Holy Spirit testified about God’s Descent through the Holy Host of the Holy Spirit, a member of the Nkomo Family in HayHill Filabusi, “Ngalobo busuku kwehla uMoya omkhulu ukuba ufakaze ngokwehla kwaMandla.” On that night the Holy Host of God  saw a very bright light that illuminated the sky above. God told Him not to be afraid, He had made Him powerful, He gives commands through Him and they are obeyed and those who failed to believe would be left behind, “ ngikwenze wabamkhulu ungesabi ngikhuluma into kuwe yenzakale ongasoze akholwe zindaba zakhe.”

This time there was no promise as when God returned through the 2nd Holy Host, Taxwell Tayali, but He came at a time when His children in Guta Ra Mwari needed Him. There had been a lot of division within the Guta Ra Mwari Congregation since the Departure of God in 2003. The Congregation had initially broken up in two main factions who came to be known as the “Seven” and the “Ten” factions, this was denoting the times these two factions actually conducted Sunday morning service at 7am and 10am respectively. There were a few other break away factions that later developed, the once United Congregation of Guta Ra Mwari was divided and many fights were happening between members of different factions.

God taught that His children of Guta Ra Mwari had disappointed Him by the division they had created, He had entrusted them with His Holy Home and they had made it unholy by fighting and dividing amongst themselves; “Ngokungazi okukhulu lilokhe lisehlukana yeka lokulithemba, kade ngilithembile bantwabaMi lisele lazenzela umathanda eMzini oNgcwele seliwungcolisile liyangidanisa.” He declared that those who had led those break away factions will face the consequences, there would be no forgiveness. “Lina elizibumbele awenu amaqhembu lilesijeziso senu kulokho kangilaxolo. Lithethe isigaba saMi lasenza esenu lenzani kanti, linganhlanhlathi lapha-oh!”

God saw what had become of his Holy Work how His children at Guta Ra Mwari were now divided and fighting, they forgot that God was not the human Holy Host Taxwell Tayali He used but an Infinite Spirit. Because of His Mercy and Love, He revealed Himself unexpectedly to revive His work and correct the mistakes made by His children in regards to His Holy work:”Isimo Sami uTaxwell Tayali sihambe ekuphumuleni lasala lidabukana. Ngibonile ukuthi mntwana weGuta Ra Mwari ukholwe inyama.Ngiphendukile mtwana weGuta Ra Mwari ungakwazi ukuthi ngizaphenduka nini.Ngilusizi ngawe ongavumiyo.” God had foreseen this division that would later occur after His Departure and that is why He left the Congregation with a test to see who truly understood Him, the test would separate those who really understood God and those who believed in the Holy human He used.  The test was posed as two different declarations from God, one when He said He would not return again and the other when He said if I return in a child would you recognize Me. Those who clung to the first declaration that He would not return were those who did not think deeper about who God really is, they believed more in His Holy Host and failed to understand that God is a Spirit. The ones who passed the test understood what He meant when He said If He returned in a child would anyone recognize Him.

“Minengi Imihloliso engalitshiyela yona, abajulisa ingqondo bayagcina yonke belindele isikhathi ezizayo lakanye sesifikile, kodwa abafipheleyo abangajabuleli ukuhlala loNkulunkulu bakhetha ukuthi njengoba ethe kaseyi kuphenduka kasifuni lakumbona.Angithi abanye bakhetha ukuthi kangiseyi kuphenduka, abanye bakhetha ukuthi ngingaphenduka ngisemtwaneni lizavuma yini? Imihloliso enjengale ngiyethula ngijulisa wena M’Africa ukuze ngibone ukuthi sukhaliphe kangakanani?”

When God descends to be a Human amongst humans His Holy Spirit descends to announce His coming.

Host of the Holy Messenger Janet
Host of the Holy Messenger Janet

Holy Messenger Janet is the one who testified about the presence of God as a Human amongst humans at Muzi Ka Nkulunkulu in Bulawayo. She spoke up during a worship sermon at Muzi Ka Nkulunkulu in Bulawayo and testified that Indeed it was God speaking and teaching through His Host, she cried out and repeated several times saying “NguNkulunkulu” which means “It is God.”Janet, one of God’s beloved Holy Messengers, descended  to testify that God had descended and was indeed living as a Human amongst humans. God has taught that Janet is His shade, His Holy Hand. “IsiThunywa Janet yena engumthunzi waMi, iLunga laMi loMoya OyiNgcwele..”

Before that testimony many were confused and started to call the Host of God, Janet, yet this was not true. The Holy Spirit who descended in Hayhill on October 2008 to testify about the presence of God did not testify as She was supposed to and this is when confusion set in amongst followers.

Upon seeing this, God descended some of His beloved Holy Messengers to testify instead and among them was Holy Messenger Janet, Holy Messenger Gabriel, Evangelist Paul and others. They all descended to testify about the presence of God as a Human among humans to the Congregation and to the World.

The rejection that followed after God revealed Himself to His Congregation at Guta Ra Mwari disappointed God. It was as if history was repeating itself, dating back to the rejection of God through the 1st Holy Host and 2nd Holy Hosts. This was the same pattern of rejection even during the time of the Holy Host, Jesus Christ.

What confused a lot of people was that this time there was no direct promise to come back as had been when God used the 2nd Holy Host, Taxwell Tayali. Instead there were two seemingly contradicting messages that had been said which were meant as a test to separate the chaff from the wheat. What people also seemed to focus on also was the age of the Chosen Host. At the age of 19, in their eyes He was too young to be used by God. A lot of the derogatory comments from those who rejected God centered on the age of the Chosen Holy Host. God The Incarnate went to meet with the Evangelists and other Congregation leaders of Guta Ra Mwari Head Quarters several times and all times He was rejected and humiliated by all who met Him, they referred to Him as “umfana lowana owephupho” (the boy who had a dream) or “umfana lowana owayesithi uzwa uNkulunkulu usephendukile” (the boy who claims to talk to God has returned).

Finally God declared that, ‘I want them to see that they are not clever but they are foolish. I have put a burning fire amongst them. They are fighting amongst themselves and they will continue to do so I will not forgive them for what they did. I want them to learn through a painful lesson, I will not be sympathetic; they will remain with their disdain for God. Often It’s not easy to accept that I Am God but this does not mean you should disrespect Me and take Me for granted especially when I declare Myself clearly to you that I Am GOD ’

“Ngifuna bakubone ukuthi abakhaliphanga bayizithutha. Ngifake amalangabi omlilo phakathi kwabo. Bayalwa njalo bazahlala besilwa angibaxoleli kulokho abakwenzayo. Ngifuna bafunde ngesenzo esibuhlungu, angibazweli-bazahlala lokweyisa kwabo benjalo. Kunzima isikhathi esinengi ukuthi lamukele ukuthi nguNkulunkulu, kodwa laloba kunjalo akutsho ukuthi sokumele ungithathe kalula mina ngiyabe ngicaca ukuthi nginguNkulunkulu.”

The name of the Congregation was changed from Guta Ra Mwari to Muzi Ka Nkulunkulu.

God continues to do His Work today in Zimbabwe where He rules the world and the Heavens while living as a Human amongst humans. As God had taught during the time of the Holy Host Jesus Christ, Matthew 22 Vs 14, “For many are called, but few are chosen”; Out of over Two Hundred Thousand (200,000) GRM members, few were chosen. The Congregation continues to grow and branches have been established in most major cities in Zimbabwe and countries around the world such as South Africa, Botswana, United Kingdom, United States and Australia. Those that God has chosen will join the Congregation and those who are not chosen, God teaches that He makes them stubborn so they think they know better and they will remain that way, “Nxa ngingakukhethanga ngiyakwenza ube lenkani ukuze ukhangeleke njengomuntu owazi ngcono besengikwekela.”  It truly is a place were “Illness and Troubles are Cured.” God continues performing Miracles at Muzi Ka Nkulunkulu, the sick are healed, sins are forgiven, people who are troubled by ancestral spirits “amadlozi” and other evil spirits are relieved from their troubles. He rules the whole World and the Heavens while here on Earth working as a Human amongst humans at Muzi ka Nkulunkulu.

God has descended a number of His Holy Servants from Heaven to do His work here on Earth. Some include Holy Messenger Janet, Holy Messenger Gabriel, Evangelist Paul, and others.

God also declared that the Congregation youth this time around will carry on His Work; He will give them wisdom to serve Him, “Vele engibasebenzisayp yintsha, ungamangali nxa usizwa ukukhalipha ovuvela kuntsha ngoba yibo abathwali bomsebenzi khathesi.”
